NP Aerospace is a major supplier of
engineered thermosetting and thermoplastic
mouldings. NP manufactures an extensive range of
products for a wide variety of customers, in the
aerospace, electrical, automotive, defence and
medical industries.
NP processes materials at temperatures up
to 350°C and have mould cooling capabilities down
to -5°C by Compression Transfer, Injection and
Direct Screw Injection all of which are everyday
occurrences for our team.
Glass, Carbon, Aramid, Polyethylene
and Nylon fibres and fabrics combined with Phenolic, Poly Vinyl
Buteryle (PVB) Polyester, Epoxy, Nylon 66, Polyethersulfone
(PES), Polyetherethercetone
(PEEK) Polyurathane and Polycarbonate, are all production materials
handled every week and every month at NP. Smart hybridisation
of fibres, fabrics, ceramics and polymers is providing significant
increases in performance levels ensuring our customers benefit
from NP’s continuous improvement philosophy.
Our Service To Customers
The NP
Team was established by Courtaulds in 1926 to manufacture close
tolerance acid resistant mouldings and assemblies such as Spinning
Boxes, Thread Advancing Reels, and Acid Troughs for
the Spinning Machines producing Rayon across the world.
NP’s
service to its customers provides for assistance in material
selection, design
of mouldings and production of rapid prototypes to ensure the
most effective solutions are achieved.
The Customers We Supply
NP supplies both the large multinationals and the smaller
niche companies with a wide range of high performance mouldings.
The products produced range from seat structures for the automotive
market to ultra-lightweight components for aircraft applications.
The supply of 'turn key' moulding support for customers requiring
a large range of mouldings for their final assemblies is a
speciality service provided by NP Aerospace. Such services
are currently provided to major Medical, Aerospace and Security
customers.
