The ventilation system is a complete specially designed
unit, where where the air intake is located at the
shoulder to facilitate wading in water filled culverts.
Key Features of the MKVI EOD Ventilation System:
Air is fed from the fan at up to 250 litres per minute to
the operators back and helmet combined. This can be controlled
by the operator.
There is a valve to control ventilation to the back.
There is an automatic shut down of the ventilation system
to prevent injurious hot air entering the suit.
The suit is powered with
a battery pack. A new battery pack will provide for not less than
two hours operation.
