The AC850 is designed primarily for re-armouring of jet fighters with
the engines running. This is a totally composite helmet with no metal
components (ingestions by the aero engine will not damage the blades
or engine function). High levels of blunt trauma head protection are
assured. This helmet is Nato Codified.
AC810 Helmet
Also Nato Codified, the AC810 used on aircraft carriers provides high levels of bump protection
whilst ensuring the identity of its user. Red for Armourers,
Blue for Refuellers and Yellow for Air Traffic Controllers
provides immediate recognition of key personnel.
Type 15 Helmet
This unique helmet is designed for users across the
aircrew community and is extensively used by helicopter
users. The helmet has a 600 knots proven visor capability
to ensure the visor will stay in place during high speed
ejection. Nato Codified, and with high levels of blunt trauma protection makes
this the helmet of choice.
