for under arm and over arm protection to provide enhanced protection
for personnel against fragments entering from the side of the body.
The CPV/TC/LS Jacket with its patented construction at the shoulder
and elbow ensures flexibility whilst providing a guaranteed overlap
of the armour in order to eliminate ballistic windows.
CPV/TC/SS Short Sleeve Jacket
The CPV/TC/SS Jacket, recognising the problems associated with the use
of such garments in hot climates, has been designed with short sleeves
to minimise heat stress whilst maintaining enhanced protection over the
heart area when attacked
from the side.
CPV/TC/SS Jacket Accessories
Both the CPV/TC/LS and CPV/TC/SS Jackets come complete with a sweat
management vest, two sets of ice packs and a thermal container for stowage
of ice packs. There are three pockets for ice packs. The soldier is
seen placing one of the ice packs in the front pocket.
